Vishwesh Bhatt is heading to New Orleans to compete in The Great American Seafood Cook Off on August 7th.  Now in its seventh year, it has featured many celebrity chefs as well as some up and coming, rising star chefs.  The event emphasizes the importance of cooking with domestic seafood and encourages the support of American fisherman and local economies.

City Grocery Restaurant Group: Mind Control Experiment….

June 16, 2010 by chefjc Leave a Comment

If dinner was not amazing enough this past Saturday night with friends at Le Bernadin, chef/owner Eric Ripert filmed a full episode of his new TV show in a Billy Reid-edition City Grocery T-shirt yesterday.  There were two sightings of Big Bad Breakfast T’s at the Big Apple BBQ this weekend, but no photo evidence to support those reports.

Send us your images of people in City Grocery, Bouré, BBB, or Snackbar gear and win a free surprise. Remember, the more absurd the photo, the more absurd the surprise.  Chef Ripert will receive a broken vegetable peeler (used in City Grocery kitchen) and a chance to run our fancy (but VERY old) orange juice contraption at Big Bad Breakfast!  So, get those entries in soon.
